walked Street full of Joy, Bagging Style!

Hey people! I am sure as of yet you have bagged in many interesting fun trips and experiences to share with in n number of ways. But in case of me, I bagged up a startup (well known) artist.

So here it goes…A while ago, I went to an event where I came across many startup stalls and I was passing on in a fast pace, don’t know why. But then something shiny (leather) caught my eyes. So I took five steps back and finally met One among the startups with a name  Mr.Sudhir Arora. I know, I know it sounds like meeting someone from the Bollywood industry (the name suggests so), but I guess since I know him not in that genre, so can’t say….. But the genre I saw him in, is not too far from that too. He has started up (in October 2011) with his interest  in handbags and accessories line, that are extremely stylish with fresh design, supreme quality and excellent finesse.

And right behind the display, got Sudhir’s smiling and welcoming gesture, and behind him I saw a BIG banner written

199_379102965499298_370129956_non it. When I asked more about it, Sudhir mentioned “JoyStreet started as a label with the mission statement

‘To spread joy with style'”.

393745_217686761640920_490226500_nThe entire collection is awesome….Isn’t it?

And what is different in it? “JoyStreet is a brand that is being run with a lot of heart. It is all about  joyous experience for everyone and we do this by creating original styles that are high fashion, the best workmanship in the industry, and more than anything by providing a very humble and professional service to our clients.”

197074_392386850837576_1316440820_n

So when I actually held the bag and felt the shiny, smooth leather. My brain was yelling out loud ‘WoW!! Such a superb workmanship’. Hence I could not resist and I purchased it… not then and there but in bestylish.com. Yes Sir, they are all over the e-commerce retailing and are tied up with styletag.com, snapdeal.com, yebhi.com, fashionandyou.com and many more are in pipeline. So when I showed interest to have both of them (Sudhir & Joystreet) in my blog…. The rest is (not the history)… it’s present right here ;)

403543_401655379910723_1402862348_nI am pretty sure….you might have seen these, cuz it so popular right from Joystreet.

And while going through much more details about Joystreet, I got to know that “In the last one year of our operations, we have been frequently featured in various publications like Grazia, Times of India, I Diva, Time Out and mainstream news like DNA Vanity Fair to name a few” my eyes widened.

29569_402840243125570_693642261_n

Then, “Online, we have appeared on bpbweekend, strut120 etc. And all of this completely through word of mouth publicity owing to our strong product and before-and-after sales service” after reading this I ran out of words and was completely awestruck. Because now I really felt as if I lost the chance of getting more in contact with such a personality who…… might have some connection with Bollywood.

Well people, I don’t know if you know about 6 degree separation, but to tell you frankly no matter who you are and with whom you are connected to (in terms of celebrities), your own potential and hard work with full dedication and passion, says a lot about you.

285655_440262819383312_294923745_n

So I would highly recommend you to shop in Joystreet because “we got wide variety of handbags, wallets, clutch, sling bags, belts for Women which range between INR1500 to 8000. And in this year the label will include Menswear and Kidswear bags and accessories categories too, making it the ultimate fashion accessories brand for all”. In his own words and sweet smile.

Real Deep Dive Link

Hey all! It’s Friday and I know you all are very happy about the coming weekend. I am still planning what to enjoy doing more. Well in my case, I either apologize for not being regular in posting blogs or make promises for posting blogs regularly :)  But today I want to introduce an issue which you all are aware of, but just not stepping ahead.

It’s been more than 3 years, since I am here in Pune, but hardly in touch with real people out there. So I jumped into taking parts in events, where I can have the liberty to interact with interesting identities. One of the experiences that I am eager to share with you today is ‘Innovation Jam Pune’ (conducted once in a year). The session started from 1st to 3rd March ’13 at ThoughtWorks, Pune. I loved the ambience of the company, comfort & good care that they took of us (participants) and got to know many just after a sweet Hi!

The event’s motto was to let join bright minds together and build an innovative bizz plans. We were 35 in total (divided in team chosen by us) and given 48hrs. of time (for deriving a business startup from a given theme) to ignite the mental spark big time.                 Birender & Aditya (face of the comapany ThoughtWorks) were mentors and our mental fire extinguishers :) So we started discussing….

more discussion….more discussion…started to turn up towards giving a shape to mental capabilities…We had internal excitement, enjoyment, competition, exchange of mixed feelings etc.But all in all, more than the effort put on the innovational concepts, we experienced the sweet sense of togetherness. And on the third day, when final leaving is on the part of the chapter, saying “be in touch” are the words that expressed the feeling of never let go of such a nice company.Everybody is into socializing and it seems to be a never ending scenario. Through internet, your friend list is exceeding 200 but still it’s not enough for you. Don’t you think, it feels greater when you see & hear your friend’s laugh rather than liking on their smiling pretty face? I am attached to only 100 souls through internet, but deeply I feel void. I chat but can’t express feelings, I like but can’t sense it totally, I comment but it sounds to be unheard. Are you feeling the same?I suggested many to go out, get in touch with most of your city. But, I know what is holding you back viz. shyness, lack of time, you will say “I am an introvert…. doesn’t like to mix well with others” etc. etc.        Frankly speaking, first few seconds you are strangers but as soon as you say Hi or receive a Hello, you get sudden sense of knowing that person. So get out!! ;) And dive into the real world connection.

.

419717_289886994410859_504878908_nI would like to thank the far & friendly minds who started the whole concept of Global Service Jam (founded on 2010) Markus & Adam, the entire team of ThoughtWorks including Aditya & Birender, My team mates Suganth,Vivek & Santanu. Those names, I remember with whom I exchanged a short & sweet friendly gestures Shaifali, Pari, Nidhi, Khushbu, Dubinsky,  Mandeep, Pratik, Ashish, Ketan and those pretty unaware names whom I respect a lot for their participation. Most importantly, I would love to thank the site eventbrite.com that brought me to have the best 3days time spent with the above, absolutely lovely personalities. Thank you all for reading this long & strong blog :)…. Once in a while I blog so I guess it’s worth the patience right ;) Would love to have your contribution for facing the live world. Till then Adios!!

New Year Dips in ‘Pink Truffles’

Hey … how you doing?? Sorry for the same old ‘FRIENDS’ gesture.  But I am sure you are getting crazy about making plans with your friends saying “hey what are your plans for New Year?” or “what are going to be your New Year resolutions?” etc…. Okay so keep up the spirit.

But today I am here to let you order for some yummm… chocolates on New Year occasion. Yes, there is this beautiful, cute looking girl naming ‘Deepshikha Kothari’, who is a ‘Chocolatier’ (WoW!! What a designation). And having a surprisingly great talent of making you eager to know ‘what is inside such a wonderful looking box’. Exactly, the presentation (the box made by her) of chocolate is itself alluring. Watch this:

She says “My love for food, cooking and especially chocolate drove me to take chocolate making classes. After learning the basics from a pastry chef I started experimenting with flavors and recipes which I would love to eat myself. My friends and family were my guinea pigs and my greatest motivation for me to get into chocolate making , apart from my own passion for it, as I am surrounded by chocolate lovers!” That’s how it goes….

She learned the yummy art. Now…. It’s just been few months since she became an entrepreneur (since August 2012) and her business is going rocket high. She named her talent as ‘Pink Truffles’ and the visiting card is as cute as her way of approach and pleasing attitude.

final_logo-01

I met her at Helix Events. There were many stall owners, but among few she was like a ‘fairy’ to me, who shown me the box and the eatery within it and let me tasted her handmade chocolates. It was a heavenly feeling as soon as the first few layers of chocolate melted on my taste buds. A sudden rush of watery feel in my brain and ‘tick’ the chocolate is gone. WOW!!

I asked her, what is so special about these chocolates and she said “I have worked super hard on my packaging as I feel people eat with their eyes way before the chocolate reaches their mouth. It is a homemade chocolate company where the focus is on making the best quality chocolate. I use imported ingredients, so that my chocolates taste quite different from the ones you get in stores around the city”. That is it. That is why some of the big named sweet shop owners in Pune have Pink Truffles on sale.

In her words “My motto is to never compromise on quality and I work on order so that my customers get the freshest chocolates to devour. I look forward to my chocolate making sessions with the intoxicating smell of chocolate enough to keep me super happy (though I do end up eating quite a bit myself!). Chocolate making has really helped me discover my creative side :)  “.

You must order some for your happy moments and sunny occasions. And soothe your tasting senses by dipping them in designer chocolates. You can go for mini or bulk orders by:

Watching Her Profile:  facebook.com/pinktruffleschocolates

Mailing Her:  pinktrufflespune@gmail.com

You have got only two days left for New Year celebration. Great, if you grab the chocolates for the party!! Have fun and kindly let me know your plans for New Year. Hey! I too want to get invited by you….. Adios!!

First Ever……Brand Promotion

All my dear folks…. Your mail inbox seems to have no message from crimsonapril.wordpress. I totally agree, because it’s been a long gap since 2nd December 12. Well there are many news to disclose then.

In this gap, I have attended many events here in Pune. I mentioned you already about Helix Events, after that I have been to Masala Dossa, both of them are event organizing companies. I got so darn inspired by the upcoming artists, new jolly faces, what their brains work upon was captured on the table they were displaying.

400833_364034040348488_313837599_n

398612_503921742975015_1144506588_n

And there is no stop. The every other event I was attending, were conceiving all different sets of artists. Very few I can say were a repeated face to me. But the Josh & Junoon was same with each stall owners.

To be very frank, initially (before attending the events) the concept to me was below the ground. I was like “It is so understated, so boring, so embarrassing being a ‘stall owner’ “. But when I actually attended one in Pune, my entire perception got vaporized (as soon as I entered the event). The kids, youths and aunties having ‘posh’ lifestyles and ‘hi-end’ profiles where on the other side of the table. And I was watching the combination of art & attitude, skills & style, stuffs & mentality they carry…….. amazing experience.

So the point is, for the first time, I had the brand promotion of Crimson April just the same way. The event (‘Coco Bazaar’)was organized by Kitsch Mandi at Cocoparra, Pune. And  I was on the other side of the table (as a stall owner) and displaying my art. And trust me “that was big time fun and enthusiastic moment”. My skills been appreciated, my talent has been seen and boosted and my visiting cards were all over by the end of the event :) . Ohhh… what a great feeling when people come to know what are you made for, why are you here, what is your identity etc…..

So show up guys!!  I feel you deserve to be there and declare the purpose of your presence.  The importance of being you. What I sensed is, a missing feel, when only you know that you are alive… you have to wake up the people around you (apart from your family and friends) and make them know what is it being YOU.

Thank you all guys for many likes and followeens, which actually made me go out there and supported me as true buddies. And yup, do let me know what have you done these many days without my mails ;)    Adios!!

The Toughs

Howdy folks!! I hope your Friday is going good, with plans for coming Saturday and Sunday. Would love to hear your plans, just in case, I feel like dropping there and enjoying with you. :)

Today, I would like to start sharing some lessons (in series) that I learnt so far, from my experiences related to my passion….. Interior Designing. Would  recommend you to read only at peace and ease. :)

LESSON 1#

Always First Complete the Assigned Job or Act Accordingly: I remember my first project was a cafe with a budget which was far too less in accordance to the requirements and flashy demands. Frankly speaking, project is still incomplete…. with no painting work done, no bar stool, no polishing done on some plywood areas. When I said” I can’t leave this place like this, shed more money and case is over and good looking”. Client told me he will do it all by himself, but not now. I swear, it’s been more than 2 yrs  and it’s still the same. I lost public attention due to this and it was my mistake, I should have insisted on it and firm on it. I let it go, that was my mistake.

Until I finish……

I am not in the blaming mode. The best part would be, if you take the best out of my lessons. And plan at the optimum level for your business workout. Well guided and well focused, is the key.

Would like to hear about your experiences and lessons too. Will come up with more. Till then, enjoy…live life to the fullest.  Happy Friday!! Take care and God bless. Adios!!

Mad Hand

Hello everyone. Today my topic will wander around procrastination. You got it right, delaying your work by every means and in every possible way. Many think, people who are into business or are working with their passion, do not push their schedule for tomorrow. Well folks, this approximately is not the truth. I have seen my brother’s mind (bimchum.wordpress.com) taking rest, yawning sometimes and so is with my other few friends with their venture.

I would like to share something which is there deep in my mind. I really want to get out of the track, by blogging once in a month. Already, October is hitting the end. Now, I really need to focus upon building something new every other day.

Would like to see your Inbox filled up of my blogs hahahaha…… Well, so in coming few weeks I will be keep coming on your face to deliver the best out of the world. I have made something more from my mad hand…

Now this twine piece is what I loved and enjoyed making.  You will soon get to know the step+by+step methods of these DIY(s).  Thank fully my brother is there to teach me a section of his photography. Although the above picture is as genuine as me :)

While making this…. was a fun time. Felt like adding up something to the room, so that I can feel that, this is how I like to be: colorful, hanging in the air (in thoughts), a designer who fills the blank space in a light way with a art which is approachable by everyone.

But sometimes I feel like doing this (quill art) which is pretty much a patience builder. This applies to everyone, sometimes you feel like working very hard professionally, when you are high in energy level, irrespective of the consequences declared by your boss

But at the end no matter how hard or well or less or more have you worked….. for that particular moment, you feel satisfied with whatever you have done. And the feeling of pushing yourself out of your potential, is divine. Hmmm… some cute efforts are not bad at all though.

The variation of complexity of my work, itself tells the story. Sometime I want to feel relaxed and sometimes I am so pumped up.  Well, at the end I want to say, no matter how are you feeling right now,  YOU MUST REMAIN FOCUSED!! Okay?? Focused on the duty that is been assigned to you. Focused on the capability that is within you. And, kindly do understand, there is something which is been gifted to you by God, source of light, heaven, energy (howsoever you call HIM). You need to find that gift and utilize it in the best possible way. All the very best for searching that gift. And no matter if you are still searching it or already found one, keep me updated regarding the same. Because you know, I love to hear from you all.

Adios!!

Fair+well Collectibles

Howdy people!! I was wandering around many events, exhibitions and fairs, since many days. As soon as I feel like letting you know, what is happening, another one shows up. So, would you like to join me where I have already been? Look out, what inspired me as a person, an artist and being Punekar. Pictures taken majorly from mobile phone. And, I will go through only those where I have loved attending it and  purchased some nice goods.

First visit was in Golibaar Maidan (killer name ;)),  Noor handicraft exhibition. The name itself tells the story, Indian+Mughal art, lots of Kalakaari, confusing and attractive pieces. The best part was, this one being rare; having a reasonable and competitive price tags with thousands of varieties.

And finally bought and brought two Sheesham lounge chair (4000INR for two) home by my brother…. For his retirement may be :-[

And I bagged something I was longing for…. My pleasant ride (for 275INR). Hey, one quality being an Indian, is Bargaining is in Blood ;) Although I tried my level best not to hurt the talent they had, for making all these.

And a cute collection of, six piece cup set  for 300 INR.

The another one was a warm event organized by Helix Events (www.facebook.com/helixeventspune).  Where I had a lot of  fun, where all the faces were smiling and welcoming, where collection was awesome and much more happy happenings!! Catch it

And I had my dearest shopping here. Tiny cute little things that will make me happy, everytime I see them.

And… and… and… last but still not the least. Since Durga Pooja is going on, I can’t take my eyes off  HER, especially in a Bengali Style

I loved having ‘Mishti Dohi’. Even by its name, I feel teehee. And rather than purchasing anything else, I was easily attracted to wisdom, like this

Yes I am still in search of  some answers, towards calm direction.  And I know He is a great helper. Well yes, I too go to trans mode sometimes guys!!  And I know, no matter how, hot babe or cool dude we all are, we still look out for something precious for our life. Something that will help us nurture our lives in a better way. Keep finding the right path and keep following your heart!!

I must say, this post will definitely make you think…. what is great in this??? We all visit fairs and exhibitions, what is new in it?? Well, I will tell you, with what perspective have I posted this.

I felt inspired by the way the shop owners (age no bar) dealt with their (respective) businesses. These platforms are their initial step to get themselves out of the crowd. They have the courage to start something new all by themselves and be firm confident on it with a strong faith, that this will keep them in their bright, real dreams.

And the little cute pieces displayed in their shops, told me, life might go retiring but you must (always) identify and cherish the happiness present in the current moment.

So, whenever something or someone has made you smile from your heart, don’t let your feelings go unnoticeable. Keep me posted by your happy times, because sharing will enhance those tickles on your cheeks. Love you all and God bless you.  Adios!!
