Real Deep Dive Link

Hey all! It’s Friday and I know you all are very happy about the coming weekend. I am still planning what to enjoy doing more. Well in my case, I either apologize for not being regular in posting blogs or make promises for posting blogs regularly :)  But today I want to introduce an issue which you all are aware of, but just not stepping ahead.

It’s been more than 3 years, since I am here in Pune, but hardly in touch with real people out there. So I jumped into taking parts in events, where I can have the liberty to interact with interesting identities. One of the experiences that I am eager to share with you today is ‘Innovation Jam Pune’ (conducted once in a year). The session started from 1st to 3rd March ’13 at ThoughtWorks, Pune. I loved the ambience of the company, comfort & good care that they took of us (participants) and got to know many just after a sweet Hi!

The event’s motto was to let join bright minds together and build an innovative bizz plans. We were 35 in total (divided in team chosen by us) and given 48hrs. of time (for deriving a business startup from a given theme) to ignite the mental spark big time.                 Birender & Aditya (face of the comapany ThoughtWorks) were mentors and our mental fire extinguishers :) So we started discussing….

more discussion….more discussion…started to turn up towards giving a shape to mental capabilities…We had internal excitement, enjoyment, competition, exchange of mixed feelings etc.But all in all, more than the effort put on the innovational concepts, we experienced the sweet sense of togetherness. And on the third day, when final leaving is on the part of the chapter, saying “be in touch” are the words that expressed the feeling of never let go of such a nice company.Everybody is into socializing and it seems to be a never ending scenario. Through internet, your friend list is exceeding 200 but still it’s not enough for you. Don’t you think, it feels greater when you see & hear your friend’s laugh rather than liking on their smiling pretty face? I am attached to only 100 souls through internet, but deeply I feel void. I chat but can’t express feelings, I like but can’t sense it totally, I comment but it sounds to be unheard. Are you feeling the same?I suggested many to go out, get in touch with most of your city. But, I know what is holding you back viz. shyness, lack of time, you will say “I am an introvert…. doesn’t like to mix well with others” etc. etc.        Frankly speaking, first few seconds you are strangers but as soon as you say Hi or receive a Hello, you get sudden sense of knowing that person. So get out!! ;) And dive into the real world connection.

419717_289886994410859_504878908_nI would like to thank the far & friendly minds who started the whole concept of Global Service Jam (founded on 2010) Markus & Adam, the entire team of ThoughtWorks including Aditya & Birender, My team mates Suganth,Vivek & Santanu. Most importantly, I would love to thank the site eventbrite.com that brought me to have the best 3days time spent with the above, absolutely lovely personalities. First Ever……Brand Promotion

All my dear folks…. Your mail inbox seems to have no message from crimsonapril.wordpress. I totally agree, because it’s been a long gap since 2nd December 12. Well there are many news to disclose then.

In this gap, I have attended many events here in Pune. I mentioned you already about Helix Events, after that I have been to Masala Dossa, both of them are event organizing companies. I got so darn inspired by the upcoming artists, new jolly faces, what their brains work upon was captured on the table they were displaying.

And there is no stop. The every other event I was attending, were conceiving all different sets of artists. Very few I can say were a repeated face to me. But the Josh & Junoon was same with each stall owners.

To be very frank, initially (before attending the events) the concept to me was below the ground. I was like “It is so understated, so boring, so embarrassing being a ‘stall owner’ “. But when I actually attended one in Pune, my entire perception got vaporized (as soon as I entered the event). The kids, youths and aunties having ‘posh’ lifestyles and ‘hi-end’ profiles where on the other side of the table. And I was watching the combination of art & attitude, skills & style, stuffs & mentality they carry…….. amazing experience.

So the point is, for the first time, I had the brand promotion of Crimson April just the same way. The event (‘Coco Bazaar’)was organized by Kitsch Mandi at Cocoparra, Pune. And  I was on the other side of the table (as a stall owner) and displaying my art. And trust me “that was big time fun and enthusiastic moment”. My skills been appreciated, my talent has been seen and boosted and my visiting cards were all over by the end of the event :) . Ohhh… what a great feeling when people come to know what are you made for, why are you here, what is your identity etc…..

So show up guys!!  I feel you deserve to be there and declare the purpose of your presence.  The importance of being you. What I sensed is, a missing feel, when only you know that you are alive… you have to wake up the people around you (apart from your family and friends) and make them know what is it being YOU.

Thank you all guys for many likes and followeens, which actually made me go out there and supported me as true buddies. And yup, do let me know what have you done these many days without my mails ;)    Adios!!

Fair+well Collectibles

Howdy people!! I was wandering around many events, exhibitions and fairs, since many days. As soon as I feel like letting you know, what is happening, another one shows up. So, would you like to join me where I have already been? Look out, what inspired me as a person, an artist and being Punekar. Pictures taken majorly from mobile phone. And, I will go through only those where I have loved attending it and  purchased some nice goods.

First visit was in Golibaar Maidan (killer name ;)),  Noor handicraft exhibition. The name itself tells the story, Indian+Mughal art, lots of Kalakaari, confusing and attractive pieces. The best part was, this one being rare; having a reasonable and competitive price tags with thousands of varieties.

And finally bought and brought two Sheesham lounge chair (4000INR for two) home by my brother…. For his retirement may be :-[

And I bagged something I was longing for…. My pleasant ride (for 275INR). Hey, one quality being an Indian, is Bargaining is in Blood ;) Although I tried my level best not to hurt the talent they had, for making all these.

And a cute collection of, six piece cup set  for 300 INR.

The another one was a warm event organized by Helix Events (www.facebook.com/helixeventspune).  Where I had a lot of  fun, where all the faces were smiling and welcoming, where collection was awesome and much more happy happenings!! Catch it

And I had my dearest shopping here. Tiny cute little things that will make me happy, everytime I see them.

And… and… and… last but still not the least. Since Durga Pooja is going on, I can’t take my eyes off  HER, especially in a Bengali Style

I loved having ‘Mishti Dohi’. Even by its name, I feel teehee. And rather than purchasing anything else, I was easily attracted to wisdom, like this

Yes I am still in search of  some answers, towards calm direction.  And I know He is a great helper. Well yes, I too go to trans mode sometimes guys!!  And I know, no matter how, hot babe or cool dude we all are, we still look out for something precious for our life. Something that will help us nurture our lives in a better way. Keep finding the right path and keep following your heart!!

I must say, this post will definitely make you think…. what is great in this??? We all visit fairs and exhibitions, what is new in it?? Well, I will tell you, with what perspective have I posted this.

I felt inspired by the way the shop owners (age no bar) dealt with their (respective) businesses. These platforms are their initial step to get themselves out of the crowd. They have the courage to start something new all by themselves and be firm confident on it with a strong faith, that this will keep them in their bright, real dreams.

And the little cute pieces displayed in their shops, told me, life might go retiring but you must (always) identify and cherish the happiness present in the current moment.

So, whenever something or someone has made you smile from your heart, don’t let your feelings go unnoticeable. Keep me posted by your happy times, because sharing will enhance those tickles on your cheeks. Love you all and God bless you.  Adios!!
